The Potholes Of Brufjell

BLUE MIND:

There’s nothing quite like sitting near the ocean. Have you ever noticed how you feel instantly more relaxed and less anxious whenever you’re near water? I would like to introduce to you the theory of «Blue mind», which describes the mildly meditative state we fall into when spending time near water. Calm, peace, unity - water helps amplify nature’s soothing, healing qualities like a rest for the body and mind. It increases a sense of well-being, happinness and contentment. It lower levels of stress and anxiety, heart and breathing rate.

RED MIND:

«Red mind» is the opposite; "the anxious, over-stimulated and over-connected state that defines the new normal of modern life. So when you are feeling down or anxious, retreat to an area near water. Spending some time outdoors helps in releasing the toxins from our body and leave us all fresh and rejuvenated.
