Arrived Thursday to a magical place: Logbua I celebrated my 60th birthday with the most beautiful girlfriends. We enjoyed good food & drinks! The weather has been a bit strange; it has rained almost the entire time, but every guest has been like warm sunshine! Thank you for having us! We will be back very soon!

Absolutely stunning location with beautiful views and very well-placed for exploring the wider area. The accommodation is comfortable and very well-equipped but is showing signs of wear and tear. Unfortunately it wasn’t very clean on our arrival although the host did offer to send cleaner back in but we had already chosen to clean it ourselves by then. Host was very friendly and provided wine and spaghetti as a goodwill gesture.

Wir sind schon in sehr vielen Airbnb Domizilen auf der ganzen gewesen, aber dieses Haus war mit Abstand das Beste. Es gibt bestimmt größere Häuser, welche, die noch eine weiteres Bad oder ein Whirlpool haben.Das war für uns nicht das Kriterium.Das Haus hat so viel Seele, es ist mit unfassbar vielen Kostbarkeiten ausgestattet wie z. B. Geschirr und Gläser aller Art,Blumenvasen,Leuchter, italienische Nudeln,Gewürze,Bücher,Kunst, Schallplatten,stylische Möbel,eine großzügige Terrasse direkt an der Flussmündung zum Fjord mit toller Beleuchtung. Beim Erbauen und Einrichten des Hauses war ganz viel Liebe und Leidenschaft dabei,die bis ins Detail sichtbar und spürbar. Würde das Haus mir gehören,ich würde es nicht vermieten.Deshalb 1000 x Danke Per, dass wir bei dir Gast sein durften. Als letztes ist zu erwähnen,es gibt im Ort einen Laden,der 7 Tage,24 Stunden geöffnet hat mitTankstelle und im Fluss gibt’s viele Lachsforellen.Anscheinend hat der liebe Gott an dieser Stelle die Erde geküsst.
We've stayed in many Airbnbs all over the world, but this house was by far the best. There are certainly larger houses, some with an extra bathroom or a hot tub. That wasn't a deciding factor for us. The house has so much soul; it's furnished with an incredible number of treasures, such as all kinds of dishes and glasses, flower vases, chandeliers, Italian pasta, spices, books, art, records, stylish furniture, and a spacious terrace right at the mouth of the river where it meets the fjord, with fantastic lighting. So much love and passion went into building and furnishing this house, and it's visible and palpable in every detail. If this house were mine, I wouldn't rent it out. Therefore, a thousand thanks, Per, for letting us be your guests. Lastly, it's worth mentioning that there's a shop in town that's open 24/7, with a petrol station, and the river is full of rainbow trout. It seems like God really kissed the earth here.

Amazing location with unbelievable views! The house worked well for our family of 8 adults. It is just as described, with a few different places to relax and 5 bedrooms. Bedrooms had limited space for unpacking clothes, toiletries (no dressers/closet space). Kitchen was great for preparing meals and we grilled outside watching the the fisherman and the fish! Recommend the potholes hike and a visit to Isbua restaurant in Hidrasund.

We had a great two weeks at Per's house with four adults and four teenagers. The location and the atmosphere was unique. And that in any weather. So we just spent many days on site. The house is basically high quality and furnished with style. It is obvious that it is not purely a holiday home. This gives a special personal touch, but also means that it is a bit cluttered. The kitchen is very well equipped, but it is noticeable that the cooking utensils are also used a lot. Bathrooms and bedrooms are not large, but stylish and adequate. The beds are rather soft. The village with a swimming lake, disc golf course and great sports facilities also offers many opportunities that we used a lot. Overall, Per's House is an absolute recommendation.

En nydelig plass helt nede ved elveutløpet. Ørret og laksefiske til langt på natt. Alt man måtte trenge i bua til en storfamilie på ferie. Vi gikk også tur opp til stormasta, fantastisk utsikt. Anbefales.

Logbua er en liten perle innerst i Åna-Sira, med en utsikt til elven, fjellsidene og havet i det fjerne som man aldri aldri kan gå lei av. Huset er stilig og romslig, med sjarm og varme i detaljene. Her fant vi både julefryd- og fred. Altslags vær besøkte oss, både strålende vintersol, stjernehimmel og stormende sludd. Huset ga oss de beste rammer for en skikkelig varm og fin familiefeiring. Takk for gjestfriheten, de omtenksomme mose- og nissedekorasjonene, den ekstra hyggelige kommunikasjonen før og under oppholdet. Vi kommer veldig gjerne tilbake og gjerne i sommertider, for å oppleve lange lyse netter og bryggebad.

Our stay at Per’s place in Åna-Sira was lovely. The house is very eclectic, mix of old & new, with lots of art, plants, vintage furniture & decor. The house sits over the water with docks surrounding on one side and the location right in the middle of the fjord couldn’t be more picturesque. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking family dinners and space was enough for our group of 10. We had quite a bit of rain but the fireplace kept it cozy and we did some rainy day excursions to the nearby museum and Flekkeford. We were able to fish lots of trout from the dock and found plenty of wild mushrooms on the numerous hiking trails around nearby (porcini & chanterelles). On the sunny days we did some of the longer hikes which are well worth the effort for the views and otherworldly landscape, but be prepared to get wet feet even on dry days.

We stayed here as part of a company retreat. Spacious and beautiful venue, perfect for smaller team buildings or a couples retreat. Very friendly and proffesional hosts that adds that extra value to your stay. Highly recommended.

For people that like design and architecture, combined with fantastic views in an area where you can do more than one would expect, Per's place is perfect. It also caters for groups with children, since it has different corners to sit and relax. Even though we didn't have good weather, we truely enjoyed our stay, looking over the sea and watching the fishermen, the jumping salmons (and the daily trip of the beavers crossing it). The pier and the terrace are a great playground for the children but do make sure that they can swim well. As a host, Per is very available, without being pushy. He always reacted within a couple of minutes, accurate and to the point. All and all a fine place to visit Norway.

We had a great stay. The view and location at the waters edge are unbelievably beautiful. We sat outside every night for hours relaxing and enjoying the peaceful location! A small, quiet village made for a great getaway from the busy tourist season! I highly recommend if you are looking for a place to relax. Future plans for other modalities are in the works but we thoroughly enjoyed our session of sound therapy with Tove.
